Accelerated Reader Program
The Accelerated Reader program has been a component of Arcade's academic success for over 8 years. If implemented consistently and correctly, a student can see as much as two year's growth in their reading skills in just one school year.
Accelerated Reader is built into every school day with a 30 minute silent reading time just before or after lunch. English teachers count AR progress toward students' grades every grading period. All students are expected to have an AR book with them every day.
