Arden Middle School PTA meetings are the first Tuesday of every month at 7:15 p.m. in the Arden Library. All parents are welcome to attend. Please refer to Arden's website calendar for specific dates.
Welcome to the 2012-2013 School Year! I hope you have enjoyed time this summer connecting with your family, and enjoying your children. Now, it's time for Back to School. Ready or not, here we go!
I want to welcome our families and thank returning families for your continued support in fundraising and volunteerism. From the first day of the school year to the last day, Arden PTA relies on donations and parent volunteers to support teachers and the administration in their dedication to our children’s education. This year we will be working on increasing parent communication, getting more people involved in PTA, and looking at more ways to raise money to support the new and existing programs and technology we have here at Arden.

Stay connected. Help build and promote success at Arden Middle School by taking three important steps below!
Join: Complete and return the membership form to become a member of Arden Middle School PTA.
Participate: Join us at the PTA meeting on the first Tuesday of every month. The first will be held on Tuesday, Sept 4, 2012 at 7:15 p.m. in the school library. Attend the programs and events the PTA sponsors throughout the year for all families.
Support: Make a tax-deductible contribution to the Direct Donation Campaign to fund needed school equipment to help our students learn and grow. Encourage local businesses to contribute as well!

Please make sure you have paid your membership dues to ARDEN PTA for this school year. Additionally, please look through the following check list to make sure you are taking advantage of every opportunity to earn money for our students:
ü Make sure your membership dues are paid – MOST IMPORTANT!
ü Ask businesses or individuals if they would make a tax deductible contribution to Arden PTA. We will provide them with a donation letter for tax purposes.
ü If you shop at Raley’s or Bel Air, make sure you have and use the Quality Life Card. Every time you shop you will earn 1%-4% of your purchase. Please stop by the school office to obtain a card that designates Arden Middle School to receive the contributions.
ü Register your Safeway, Macy’s and credit/debit cards safely through www.escrip.com Make sure to designate Arden Middle School. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your cards must be re-registered each school year so that your school designation is updated properly.
