We believe John Barrett Middle School provides an environment where students will develop a passion for learning and gain the skills to make a positive difference in the world.

MISSION STATEMENT
The staff of John Barrett Middle School will: 

• create an environment where students will feel safe to participate, to question, to appreciate differing opinions, and to think independently;
• teach students to develop the ability to connect what they learn in the classroom to the world around them;
• encourage students to accept the challenge of a rigorous curriculum;
• inspire students to be personally responsible; and
• provide positive role models.
