Our Random Act of Kindness goes to…Tyler McEssy! He turned in a phone that got back to its owner who was very glad to get it back. Tyler, see Ms. Crosby in the SAP office we want to acknowledge your extra effort.
The annual BV Java & Jingle Holiday Concert will be Saturday, Dec 5, from 7 - 10 pm. Bella Vista's Concert Band, Color Guard & Drill Team, and Jazz Ensemble will entertain you with music and dance in our cafeteria, and admission is free. A variety of desserts and bags of homemade cookies will be available to purchase. Bring your friends and family and come enjoy dessert and a show.
Food venders appreciate bills smaller than a $20 to speed sales at break and lunch.
Attention NHS members! There is a general meeting today and food bags are due (11/20).
BV students who would like to receive community service credit, here’s an opportunity for you! This coming Sunday (11/22) from 8-noon you can work on the fields in our “Field of Dreams”. Contact Jim Hartley at Jhartley07@gmail.com to ensure you get credit to your group.
SPORTS NEWS:
The BV girls’ tennis team wrapped up their awesome season this past Monday playing Granite Bay in the semi finals of the Sections Team Tournament. Although they lost 7-2, it was a great season. Out of 16 teams they were in the final 4! This was the farthest the girls tennis team had gone in over 25 years. Congratulations to all 52 players!
BV will host the 5th Annual Bronco Roundup on Dec 3rd-5th. This is one of the first basketball tournaments of the year. You can find more information and all of the schedules on our website www.bellavistabasketball.com.
All Field Hockey players who ordered See’s Candy – your orders are here! Please come by Coach Wright’s room Q8 today (11/20) at break or lunch. Also any players interested in off season training come by to get info.
See your Varsity Broncos play the Rio Linda Knights in the first round of the football playoffs tonight (11/20) at 7:00pm in Rio Linda. Come out and support your team.
