Staff Wish List

Carnegie Middle School is on a tight budget, like every other school in the district.  We always welcome donations from parents and community supporters.

Items always in short supply include:

Currently, we are asking for a donation of:

  • Cash towards a scrolling marquee we would like to purchase. We are halfway there, but are looking for donations to complete this project.
The Office
The office needs kleenex and clorox wipes.  The office sees every sick kid in the school and sometimes handle the phones these coughing children use, yet they purchase their own supplies. It would be great if people would help the hard-working office staff out by bringing much needed kleenex and disinfectant to them.  (You need to designate it for the office, otherwise these generous people give it to the teachers.)

Donations can be used as a tax write-off, and we will be happy to put your information on our sponsor page.  Contact the school secretary for more information.

Individual Teacher Requests

Dori Garbutt
would like to have Kleenex, red ink pens, and 3x5 cards.

Christina Cova and Jill Goudy have received a generous donation of a class set of books: The Pigman by Paul Zindel from Margaret Hernandez.  (Thank you, Margaret!). However, they are still accepting new books for future years.  Paperbacks don't often last long in the hands of teens.   At Barnes and Noble the book retails at $6.30 each for members, and shipping is free.

Mark Tulga, our band director, is requesting donations of heavy paper - 24 to 26 pound weight rather than the normal 20 pound weight, for printing music.

Glenda Cox has a reqular request for extra white board markers - her entire class uses them.

Thank you for your support of Carnegie Middle School.
As a minor thank you, your name will be listed on the Sponsor pages.
