Dear Parents,

Carriage Elementary is looking for parents to serve on the School Site Council.  The purpose of the School Site Council is to positively affect the academic achievement of all students.  Together with a team of teachers, the principal, and other school personnel, the SSC helps to develop a plan than will ensure all students attain academic success.  Throughout the year, the SSC meets to monitor and evaluate this plan. 

A letter for Council Nominations will be sent home the first week of school.  Please consider becoming a part of this very important team.

This Council meets once a month, after school, in the Principal's Office. Dates for meeting are  tentatively set for the third Tuesday of every month, beginning in September.
