California State Standards

The following are links explaining what the STAR test is, and what your child is expected to know at the end of the school year.     

1. Academic Standards for Grade Levels
   These brochures are designed to introduce parents and students to grade level standards. San Juan is committed to helping all students meet their standards by the end of the school year.

   This is a site designated for parents, students, and teachers. View real questions released from actual tests.

3. Content Standards
   Content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level.

4. STAR Parent Guides
   The California Department of Education provides printed parent guides containing samples of the STAR Program released questions.
