Recently, there was a devastating earthquake in SiChuan, China. The death toll has reached 70,000, and property damages have already exceeded $200,000,000. Mira Loma High School’s Chinese Club and Winston Churchill Middle School’s Chinese class combined their efforts together and managed to fundraise a grand amount of $1435, all of which will be sent to the American Red Cross. We would like to thank those who supported our cause. In addition, we would like to thank the parents who helped with bake sale at Churchill and two restaurants that donated food to help us fundraise at Mira Loma - Dragon Express, 2805 12th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95817, for donating 200 eggrolls, and many thanks to QQ Noodles, 5860 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95824, for donating fried rice and chow mein.
