Good job to all Cowan students, teachers and parents for another successful year. Cowan students did so well on the CST and CAT-6 tests that our school API went up 9 points to and incredible 909!
It is easy to see why Cowan is a California Distinguished School.

Mr. Barnes was chosen as Channel 10 Teacher of the Month. A news crew will visit his classroom on Tuesday to film his classroom. Be sure to wear red to show Channel 10 our school spirit.

Mrs. McDonald's class shows off a recent art project. The students were learning about mixing primary colors to make secondary colors. The project was 3 blobs of Karo syrup with a drop of food color on each (red, blue and yellow) The students then rolled the plate around watching the colors slide together.
