Band: Coyle's Band meets twice a week on the stage in the MP Room.  Students can begin taking band in the 4th grade and continue through the 6th grade.    There are two student performances during the year.

Inclusion:
Students in the Visually Impaired Program are fully mainstreamed in the regular classroom with pull-out for work with the specialist.  Students in the Emotionally Disturbed Program are mainstreamed when they are ready to enjoy working in the regular classroom.  Students may be mainstreamed for Music, Physical Education, and one or more academic subjects depending on successful integration into the regular classroom.

GATE:
All teachers have received training in Differentiating Curriculum to meet the needs of GATE students.

K Kids Club:
Coyle has a service oriented club called the K Kids Club which is sponsored by the Citrus Heights Kiwanis Club and is part of Kiwanis International.  The students perform community service throughout the year.  Students in 5th and 6th grades are nominated by their teachers to participate.  Meetings are held after school on Wednesdays.

Bridges After School Program:
All students in grades 2 through 6 are eligible for this free program which contains 4 components: physical activities, social activities, homework, and enrichment activities.

Discovery Club:
This before and after school program has a sliding fee scale.  Students are provided time for physical activity, social activity, homework, and enrichment activities.
