Welcome back to school!
It’s wonderful to see all those smiling faces again.

Library information:
Our library is open 20 hours per.week.  I am here during the core hours of 8:15 to 1:30 Tuesday through Friday.
All classes come to the library for 30 minutes per week as scheduled. Parents are welcome to check extra books out when there are no classes in the library.

Basic library rules apply. We do not charge for overdue books and no charge for normal wear and tear. Students and families are expected to be responsible for lost or damaged books. Report cards are held for overdue books. Please do not replace a book without consulting me first.

Check out policy is as follows:
  • Kindergarten - Third graders are allowed 1 book for 1 week.
  • Fourth - Sixth grade students are allowed to check out 2 book for 1 week.
  • Parents are allowed up to 10 books for 30 days.

During Open House at Coyle our library will hosts a Scholastic Book Fair.

There are lots of volunteer opportunities in the library. Most classes come with a parent helper (ask your child if his/her class needs one). Book fairs require lots of extra help. If you are looking for a friendly and flexible place to volunteer please consider the library.

Author Day!!
Last year we were visited by Ann Bowler.
She has posted pictures from her visit on her web site.

Please visit her web site  for more information on her books.
