Graduation Requirements

Students must earn a minimum of 280 credits to graduate from Del Campo High School. Students earn the appropriate number of credits by successfully completing all required courses and a sufficient number of elective courses.

English
40 credits
10 credits each year
Mathematics
20 credits
10 credits must be Algebra 1B or higher.
Visual/Performing Arts
10 credits

Physical Education
20 credits
10 credits must be taken in 9th grade.
Life Science
10 credits
Biology or Physiology
Physical Science
10 credits
Earth Science, Chemistry or Physics
American Government
5 credits
12th grade
U.S. History
10 credits
11th grade
World History
10 credits
10th grade
Social Science
5 credits
12th grade elective
Health
5 credits

Economics
5 credits
11th grade
California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
Students must also pass the English Language Arts and Math portions of the exit exam.

Summer School
        As of January we are operating under the assumption that summer school will be similar to last year (meaning all remediation, no advancement).  Registration will begin in March or April.  This site will be updated as soon as we have more information.
