CANNED FOOD DRIVE Begins December 1, 20009
SENIOR GRAD NIGHT TICKETS ON SALE (Corder) A Grad Night ticket sales table will be in the Senior Quad area every Wednesday at lunch through December. Permission slips are available on the DC website under Grad Night. They can also be picked up in the front office. Price now is only $85. Makes a great gift for Birthdays and Holidays! Don't miss out. It's all about you this night. Come visit us at lunch with any questions.
E-WASTE DRIVE A joint effort between Grad Night and DCPTA will be the E-WAST DRIVE, January 23, 2010 - Please make sure you save all your e-wast for our drive!!!
H1N1 Vaccination clinics begin in November Three San Juan Unified high schools will be among dozens of other schools and community facilities throughout the region to host H1N1 flu vaccination clinics between November and January of next year. These clinics will offer free vaccinations to all members of the community. Students will be able to receive a vaccination with a signed parent consent form available from schools. San Juan schools hosting a clinic include: Casa Roble High School, Thursday, Nov. 19, 3 – 7 p.m. Mesa Verde High School, Monday, Dec. 14, 3 – 7 p.m. Encina High School, Friday, Dec. 18, 3:30 – 7:30 p.m.A full listing of community H1N1 vaccination clinics can be found on the Sacramento County Department of Health Services Web site via the link below.

Open Enrollment applications accepted Nov.16 - Jan. 29 San Juan Unified offers families who reside in the San Juan Unified School district an opportunity to enroll students in any of the district schools. Applications will be available at all district school sites and at San Juan Central (3738 Walnut Avenue, Carmichael 95608) beginning November 16. Applications will be accepted at San Juan Central during normal business hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at school sites during normal school hours.
Tutoring center will be open to all students on Day and time to be announced in the Library. Come in to get help with your academic subjects. College tutors can help raise your grades.
COLLEGE & CAREER B&B TestPrep is considering a weekend SAT prep class to accommodate those families who have difficulty making it to our regular classes during the week. The dates considered will be either the weekend of January 9 and 10 or January 23 and 24 (not both). We can only run the class if YOU sign up.
