Renaissance  2009/20010

The Del Campo RENAISSANCE PROGRAM provides meaningful incentives for students who reach specific levels of academic excellence, improve their grade point average, or volunteer for community service.  Students who meet Renaissance criteria receive certificates of recognition at a morning continental breakfast, discounts and free merchandise from community businesses, and the satisfaction of work well done.  We encourage all students to review the criteria for Renaissance, and fill out an application.  Selection is by application only.  They are available in the attendance office during September and January.  See the dates below as to when the applications are available, when they are due, and the grading period to be used.  Students who fill out an application, but choose not to attend the recognition breakfast will only be able to receive his/her appropriate certificate.  For those students, the certificates may be picked up in the attendance office on the following Monday at lunchtime or after school.

Recognition can also be earned for perfect attendance, straight A’s, and community service.

Participation is by application only.  Students must pick up an application from the attendance office, and return the completed application before the due date.
