At Deterding Elementary School, we work hard to make sure each student reaches his or her potential in the mastery of the standards in all academic areas. We use the California State Standards as our guide and the San Juan Unified adopted materials to support our instruction. With each curricular area we strive to bring meaning and enrichment to learning by developing cross curriculum activities that bring the concepts to life. Further enhancement of the curriculum is done with the infusion of art, music and active learning. All field trip are done to directly support our instruction of the curriculum.
