Bingo Operation

El Camino Fundamental High School has a very successful Booster Club that is dedicated to providing our school’s athletic teams with financial support, and opportunities to earn funds to completely cover our expenses for the entire season.

The El Camino Booster Club has been doing charity bingo for 22 years. This has been the Booster Club’s primary fundraising activity by hosting Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Charity Bingo Hall located near the corner of Fulton and Marconi. It is on the back side of the Town & Country West Shopping Center. Thanks to the revenue from this operation we are proud to say we are able to provide over 33% of the total cost of our sport programs. It also allows Booster’s to fund EC clubs and activities.

Our opportunity is to provide nightly workers and in return, our team & clubs earn $775.00 on Wednesday & Thursday nights. As of 2006, we also offer Tuesday night for all groups/clubs to earn $520.00. Tuesday nights is for any EC sport/group that needs additional funds over their Wednesday or Thursday nights allotment. Example: New uniforms, field trips, out of town tournaments, repairs to their fields and special needs.

Your sport or club will be awarded enough bingo nights to cover their budgeted expenses for their season or event. Each team/club is required to provide 13 volunteer workers (18 or older) for their group’s night. These workers do various jobs on the floor providing good service to our customers. Selling paper, selling games or managing the floor by assisting winning customers to verify the winning numbers and distributing pay outs.

An easy job for a few hours, that provides funding of your students sport/club/activity.

As you can see, compared to a car wash or bake sale, Bingo is by far the best.
