Eligible employees of San Juan Unified School District are offered a comprehensive benefits package. These benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. The District contribution for your benefits are determined by your applicable employee group.
New employees must enroll within 30 days of the date of hire. If you do not enroll at this time, your next opportunity will be during the annual Open Enrollment period which is held during May or June. Elections made during Open Enrollment are effective July 1st.
Open Enrollment for Benefits begins May 15, 2013, and ends May 31, 2013.
If you have a qualifying event, such as marriage, divorce, change in employment status etc, you have 30 days from the date of the event to make changes to your medical plan, dental plan or your section 125 reimbursement account.
Please review the cost schedule below for your applicable bargaining unit or employee group. For employees with less than full benefits, please contact the Benefits Department to determine your benefit costs.
