Beaver Buck Store Update We need gently used/like NEW items for the Beaver Buck Store (BBS). It is becoming harder to find good deals due to cutbacks retailers have made. They are no longer buying in huge quantities, so there are fewer mark downs. Fewer mark downs mean our BBS budget money is not going as far as it once did. Donate: Please drop like NEW and gently used donations at the office anytime, or contact Felicia Espineta at 916-792-3661 or espineta@sbcglobal.net. Volunteers Needed: I need volunteers to help set-up and run the BBS, especially for the morning shift (7:40-11:40 a.m.). If you would like to volunteer at any of the monthly BBS, please contact me. MusIQ Club
Next session starts Dec. 9th. Enroll your student and they will learn to read music and play the piano in a fun, interactive way. Session 2: Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 in the Library. Dates: Dec. 9, 16; Jan, 6, 13, 20, 27; Feb. 3, 10, 24; March 3. Sign up online at www.musiqclub.com. Cost is $15.00 per lesson or $150.00 for 10 week session. 6th GRADE GAME SALE Bored with your board games??? Just in time for the holidays, the Green Oaks sixth grade class is sponsoring a game sale December 4th & 5th! We need donations of the following items: Kids or family Board games (good-excellent condition) Puzzles (boxes in good condition and all pieces) Play Station/GBA/Wii, etc. games (working and kid friendly)(E-rated) Movies (VHS or DVD) working and rated G or PG??? All proceeds go to the Westminster Woods fund. Any items not sold will be donated to local charities. So…clean out your playrooms, closets, and cupboards. Everyone should have at least one item to donate! The sale starts Friday (l2/4) after school for Green Oaks families and continues Sat (12/5) for the general public.
