"At Mesa Verde High School we are privileged to have many fine students who participate in athletics and also strive for excellence in the classroom and in other school interests. All students are encouraged to select one or more sports, train to learn and improve, compete with honor and integrity, and strive to meet and exceed the goals they set. Our coaches are drawn from both the school staff and the local community, and each one is dedicated to developing not just an athlete, but a good citizen as well. All coaches follow and enforce the rules of conduct and citizenship put forth by the school, the Pioneer Valley League, and California Interscholastic Federation. I extend my personal invitation for every student to select a sport and become an athletic ambassador for Mesa Verde High School."
