School Resource Officer (SRO)
The School Resource Officer serves as a campus liaison with the Citrus Height Police Department, emergency response organizations, the District Safe Schools Office, and other safety and law enforcement agencies. The SRO also is involved with the Mesa Verde Safe School Committee, Counseling and Student Assistance programs, and as a guest lecturer in selected classrooms. Funded by the City of Citrus Heights, the SRO provides a significant and visible presence on campus towards fulfilling the School Mission of providing a safe and structured environment.

This is Officer Kema's second year as the SRO at Mesa Verde High School. He is generally on or in the vicinity of the campus during regular school hours. He can be reached at 971.5205 or by visiting the Main Office.
