***To make the Orientation/Registration as easy as possible please go through each section***


 

Section I - Mandatory forms to be filled out before proceeding to Section II

(Please take a Schedule Pick-up Passport and make sure all boxes get stamped or you will NOT get the Schedule)

 
1)  Emergency Information – Complete the form, submit at the designated table and have your passport stamped.

2)  Rules & Regulations and Parent/Student Acknowledgement – Read the School Rules & Regulations for  Mira Loma High School here. Print out the Parent/Student Acknowledgement, sign it, submit it at the designated table and get the passport stamped.

3)  Attendance Notification and Signature Sheet - Read the Attendance Notification Sheet. Print out the Parent / Student Attendance Notification Acknowledgement, sign them, submit them at the designated table and get the passport stamped.

Section IV - MLHS Parent Organization information

 
      Boosters      

   BOOSTERS  The Booster Club is a non-profit organization established to support the various extracurricular activities offered by Mira Loma to their students. In addition to supporting student activities, the Booster Club is committed to the beautification of Mira Loma through improvement and maintenance efforts. Additionally, The Booster Club has weekly Bingo in support of Mira Loma sports and clubs, your efforts raise over $50,000 annually for our programs through bingo worker volunteers, additionally Boosters supports and organizes our Safe and Sober Grad Night (overnight) Parties.

    IBPO Logo      

        IBPO  The International Baccalaureate Parents Organization, IBPO, is a non-profit organization established to support the IB and MYP programs at Mira Loma. This parent group helps sustain the finest college preparatory program in the Sacramento region. This excellence does not come without cost. The IB program has many needs beyond those of the typical high school program. The State of California and the San Juan Unified School District do not fully fund Mira Loma's IB program.     ISSPO Logo

       ISSPO  The International Studies Students Parents Organization, ISSPO, was created to help support the International Studies program at Mira Loma High School. The ISSPO supports the educational and service activities of our IS students through personal example, advocacy, fundraising and financial support. ISSPO helps fund books, materials and field trips—costs which otherwise would be passed along to parents. You and your International Studies Student and Parent Organization can have an important and positive impact on your child’s enjoyment of these years.

NEEDED: SCHEDULE PICK UP PARENT VOLUNTEERS

 
We need your help parents to make schedule pick up run smoothly! The spots we need volunteers are for:
 
  • 8-9-16 (Tuesday) from 7:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.;
  • 8-10-16  (Wednesday) from 8:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; 1:00 pm – 2:30 p.m.;
  • 8-11-16 (Thursday) from 8:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. 

You can also call the Principal’s Secretary, Sarah Forté, at 916-971-7485 with your full name, phone number, e-mail address, and the date(s) and time(s) you are available to volunteer. Thank you for helping Mira Loma High School prepare for the next school year! 

You can now sign up on Volunteer Spot online. Click HERE.  Feel free to sign up for as many time slots as you are available.

The possible tasks are as follows: a) Alphabetizing documents, b) Floating to give breaks to staff, and c) Distributing schedules and Zangle PIN numbers.
