Earn Cash for Mira Loma and College While Shopping

Earn While You Spend
Generate cash donations to Mira Loma and earn cash for college with only a little effort on your part.  Sign up for electronic scrip and Upromise and you will earn actual cash every time you shop for just about anything. There are no fees involved and all the sites have strong privacy policies. Groceries, general shopping, services, dining, travel, online shopping and more are covered under these programs

Raley's/Bel Air
Raley's/Bel Air offers a "Quality of Life"  card (or Q card as some call them).  Just present the card when you checkout and you can earning 1-4% for the school (and for college, see below) every time you shop. Your student can pick one up in room B3 or A108 during lunch, or you can get one at the Joint Parent Meetings (6:30-7pm, every second Tuesday of the month in F3) and and most parent/student school events.  Get the card from one of the parent groups.  Go to www.raleys.com, select the About Us/Quality of Life to register your card.  When selecting organizations to donate to, the default are organizations in your city.  If you do not live in Sacramento, you need to search for "Mira Loma" in the organization search field.

SaveMart/Lucky/FoodMart/SmartFoods
SHARES card is honored at SaveMart, Lucky, FoodMart and Smart Foods Supermarkets.  Just present the card when you checkout and you can earn 3% on qualified purchases for the school  Get the card from one of the parent groups.  Go to http://www.savemartshares.com, select the Registration to register your card.  When selecting organizations to donate to, the default are organizations in your city.  If you do not live in Sacramento, you need to search for "Mira Loma" in the Group Name search field or "Sacramento" for the city search field.

Electronic Scrip
Remember paper scrip? Those days are gone. Now through companies like eScrip.com and Schoolpop.com you simply register one or more of your credit, debit and grocery loyalty cards you can shop online or in the community and earn dollars for Mira Loma with every purchase.

Participating merchants contribute a percentage of each sale (between from 1–10%) to our school. There are hundreds on merchant in many categories, everything from The Sacramento Bee (10%), to over 40 supermarkets (3-5%) Office Max (2%), to Macy's (up to 6%), to Big O Tires (3%) and DriversEd.com (5% plus 20% off the the cost of the course). These are just a few of the participating retailers, check out the websites for more a complete list.

Cash for College:
After you've registered your credit, ATM, loyalty and Quality of Life cards as noted above click over to Upromise.com and register those cards one more time. While you're earning money for Mira Loma, earn money for college at the same time. Yes, double dipping is OK. Just like the electronic scrip sites you can earn while you spend, only this time your putting money aside for college. Use your  credit card(s) at any of the thousands of participating retailers and restaurants, present your grocery and drug store loyalty cards, shop online via the Upromise site, or take advantage of special programs offered by companies like Citi , MacDonald' s Coldwell Banker and others you earn cash. Upromise can also help you set up a 529 College Savings plan and deposit your rebates automatically.
