Mira Loma News and Information - French Club is having a meeting today during lunch in room A-215.
- Need community service or CAS hours? Let TC Club help you! There are meeting every Thursday in room A-216 during lunch. Hope to see you there!
- French Club will be hosting its 6th annual toy drive. Please generally give a new or gently used toy. Yearly over 12,000 families are in need of our help in the greater Sacramento area. Help brighten the holiday season for a child in need. Donations can be left in room A-215 and in the library. Thank you and happy holidays!
- Are you interested in writing? Are you a musician, an artist, or a photographer? Do you want your work to be remembered? Submit your masterpiece Mr. Carmona in A-105 or to any envelope labeled “Prisms” in your English class.
- Come to the Counseling Office to sign up and receive a pass for the following colleges visiting Mira Loma:
American River College – Tuesday, Dec. 8 @ 11:15 Yale University, Science & Engineering – Monday, Jan 4 @ 10:15 - Social Entrepreneurship Club: Do you want to help increase the standard of living in countries across the world? Do you agree that the current systems set forth by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are fundamentally flawed? Does your household make more than $2 per day? If you have answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the Social Entrepreneurship Club is the right club for you! We meet every Friday during lunch in room C-6. Come and see us some time! An added bonus: Development is ¼ of the Economics IB test.
- Seniors: Does your family or close friend still need to buy you that Christmas or birthday present from last year? If they do, tell them that they can make it up to you by buying you a space in the senior ads section in the yearbook. It’s a great way for you to cherish your priceless moments experienced in high school. Better hurry, the deadline is January 8th. Prices are $250 for a full page, $125 for a half page, and $90 for a quarter, and $60 for an eighth. Remember – make sure your yearbook is special!!
- Attention all Seniors – The senior portrait deadline is getting close! For your picture to be included in the 2009-2010 yearbook, you must have your picture taken and ready by December 11th. Contact Prestige Portrait Studio right away at 535-7799 to set up an appointment.
