It Is Time to Give Thanks...

Mission Avenue is Thankful For....

First of all, we are very thankful that we have so many wonderful families at Mission Avenue.  Without all of your help, we could not accomplish as many things as we do!  We truly appreciate each of you and all you do for Mission!  The following is just a small sample of what we are thankful for.

We are thankful for our very special PTA and MAST organizations.  The tremendous amount of time energy parents put into these organizations for the benefit of the students and the school is amazing.  A heartfelt thanks from the entire staff!

Just a few examples...Our gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Mary Kate DeNecochea for her unending patience and determination to fill every Mission Wear order!  Unless you have held this PTA position in the past, you have no idea how time consuming this job is.  Thank you Mary Kate!  We appreciate all your help!

Another fast, furious, time consuming,  and energy zapping fundraiser is Gold C and Entertainment Book sales.  A huge round of applause and warm fuzzy thanks to Kim Chacko and Katrina Gonzales for organizing and handling the Gold C and Entertainment Book sales so efficiently.  We appreciate all of the hard work!

And to all of our parents who have volunteered inside the office, in the classrooms, organized the many fundraisers, etc. .... we THANK YOU!  Again, the amount of time and energy it takes to meet with vendors, organize material, distribute to the students, collect from students, order the products, check in the merchandise, and finally, distribute back to students, is astronomical.
