College & Career
Preparing for college is preparing for a career. Here at San Juan we are choosing to prepare all students for college by helping them discover a career that interests them. San Juan High School will develop 5 career paths that will also prepare graduates for college. By doing both, we will give kids realistic post graduation options that allow for college and career. Our program will offer the University of California A-G required courses, honors and AP classes as well.
Beginning in the Fall of 2008, American River College will offer high school students and others college courses at San Juan. These courses are transferable to ARC, and many other colleges in California or around the nation. Tuition is free for high school students, so we hope many families will take advantage of this great opportunity.
Linking Education and Economic Development (LEED) of Sacramento has been a major supporter of our efforts to redesign San Juan High School. Learn more about LEED at the link below.
