Engineering and Design

Engineering and Design is new to San Juan High School. We will use the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum and program. This program is great for students that want to see math and science at work. In this 4 course sequence students explore with hands-on projects the many facets of engineering, design, drafting, computer aided drafting (CAD), architecture, bioengineering and production. 2008-2009 is the first year of the program with the Principles of Engineering class. Students will develop entry level skills to work for construction, engineering and architectural companies. This program also partners with American River College and CSU Sacramento's engineering and design programs.
