Class Schedule

Beginning on the first day of school, 2008, the bells will be turned off, but we will follow this schedule.  Students and staff will need to manage time without the aid of a bell.  This will take some time getting used to and adjusted to getting to class on time.  Why no bells?
In college and in the workplace, there is no bell to tell people when its time to study or work, they are self-directed.  We want to develop "self-directed learners."  The bell is an old relic from the industrial age when the factory whistle blew to tell workers when to come to work, eat lunch and go home.  Times have changed.
