Program Description and Research

San Juan High School is working diligently to explore and adopt as many best practices and ideas for today's students.  We look at research and concepts from many sources.  Some of the ideas fit well, while others don't really apply to our school.  Below are a few links, articles, and resources that we have read or visited.  Follow the link to the left for more articles and publications.

    An article in Education Week describing a long term study of high school students that have been part of Career Academies in high school. The study reports an average earning of $2088 more per year than students that have attended community college. Read the article for all the details.
