Blood Drive
New San Juan High School's Student Government has a special partnership with Sacramento's BloodSource. Three times a year blood drives are held which give student an opportunity to save lives and participate in a project that benefits real people in their community.
All donation events are held in the NSJ's Small Gym from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The first blood drive for the 2011-2012 school year will be held on:
Friday, September 30, 2011
In order to donate blood:
- Students must be at least 16 years of age.
- Students younger than 18, must bring a signed Parent Consent Form on or before the donation day.
- Eat breakfast and drink plenty of fluids on the donation day.
