Louis Pasteur In his Laboratory

     “Chance favors the prepared mind”—Louis Pasteur.  This statement from our school’s namesake defines all aspects of the work we do together as a school community.  As one of San Juan’s fundamental middle schools, Pasteur’s school community has developed programs that challenge the minds of our students, helping them to become eager life-long learners.  Louis Pasteur Fundamental Middle School’s mission is to ensure all students have access to a standards based and rigorous academic program through teaming.  Our academic teams emphasize the basic foundations of math proficiency, literacy, learning habits, higher order thinking, study skills, and organization. We adhere to high standards for academics, behavior, and student organization. Students, parents, and staff work together to create a safe and positive learning environment.  Students leave Louis Pasteur Fundamental Middle School with the skills necessary to succeed in the future and a love of learning.
