Principal's Message
On behalf of the Pershing Staff, I'd like to thank you for visiting our website. We plan to update the news each week with our parent bulletin the "Pershing Panther Press". We are very proud of our students for working hard each and every day. The Pershing teachers challenge their students by enriching the California State Standards and creating lessons that encourage students to work their very hardest.
We have a very active PTA that meets monthly to support our students and teachers. Parents are encouraged to work with the teachers and help in the classroom when needed.
We've created a parent/student handbook to support the ongoing communication between school and home. Teachers have a website and email available for parents to access to keep on top of the daily happenings in their child's classroom
We support our student's character education by implementing the program "Character Counts" in our daily expectations and lessons. Students are very respectful and responsible for their learning while working in a positive learning environment.
