About Our School
Ralph Richardson Center welcomes students with severe challenges to learning. We serve students from ages three to twenty-two, with special education eligibility in the areas of orthopedic impairment, emotional disturbance, severe developmental delay and medical fragility. Each student's educational program is individualized, and is created to provide optimal exposure to state standards and district curriculum, with specific attention to issues that interfere with learning. Classroom groupings are small, and staff is trained to work in the areas of need of the students. While some students stay within the RRC community throughout their educational career, others are here only for a short time before moving to less restrictive environments at other schools.
