  • Rio Celebrates Spring Sport Success

    Golf: League and Section Champions, 4th in Masters. Tennis: League and Section Champions (2nd year now). Playing in Nor Cal Tournament Friday 5/22. Swimming: League Champions. 5 school records broken. Boys finished 11th at sections. Rio won its 13th consecutive CAL league title for varsity boys and girls. Dive: Rio student - won 5th place in varsity girls for diving. Boys Volleyball: League and Section Champions. Track: Competing in Section Finals this weekend. Softball: had a great time!

  • Rio Americano Swim & Dive Team wins the Capital Athletic League championship

    The Rio Americano Swim & Dive Team won it's 13th consecutive Capital Athletic League championship in dramatic fashion this past weekend breaking eight CAL league records! A league-high 18 different Raiders were selected All-League including League MVP's Alexander Kapphahn (Sr) and Lizzie Menzmer (Fr). The Raiders are now preparing for the CIF-SJS Section Championship where they have 30 swimmers and 3 divers qualified to compete. in dramatic fashion this past weekend breaking eight CAL league records!
