Butte College
Butte College will be hosting its 6th Annual Butte College Family Day. The event will be held Saturday, October 17th at the Butte College main campus. The purpose of this event is to inform high school students and their families about the opportunities available at Butte College. Our goal is to demystify the college experience and expose the potential students and their families to a college campus.
For many students, especially first generation college students the process of choosing a college is a collaborative effort that involves the whole family. With this in mind, we wanted to have an event on campus that will allow families the opportunity to visit the campus and experience the welcoming environment we strive to create.
This event is being marketed in our local area, especially the Latino communities, and we are hoping that you can assist us in getting the word out to your students. There will be a number of exciting events taking place that day including:
ü Scholarship Drawing
ü Financial Aid Workshop
ü Drawing for a Free Computer
ü Campus Tours
ü Free Lunch
ü Free Tickets to that day’s National Champions Butte College Football game
