School Site Council
School Site Councils bring together a community of experience and expertise to help define the goals and objectives at the school site level. The most effective Site Councils are characterized by diversity, individual preparation, willingness to work together, sharing of power and responsibility and outreach to the greater community. Effective School Site Councils begin with effective training. A training video is available for check out for each council member to view. This presentation will help train council members about their responsibilities and how they contribute to the success of schools. The video is only 18 minutes.
