The Leadership class at Jonas Salk Hi-Tech Academy is responsible for many student activities at JSHTA. Student activities may include assemblies, rallies, spirit weeks, lunchtime activities, student government, student and teacher recognition programs, fundraising, and garden leadership.
Students in Leadership will also learn about leadership styles, project management, communication skills, and conflict resolution. We will explore these topics through lessons, but students will also gain understanding experientially as they execute activities and plans for the school.
