Front Entrance to Schweitzer Elementary

Nestled in the desirable "Stollwood Estates" neighborhood of Carmichael, Albert Schweitzer Elementary is surrounded by mature trees and enjoys minimal vehicle traffic.  Our campus has a wonderful quad area in the center of the school where students can visit, study, or enjoy their lunch under the quiet canopy of the trees.  Our school also boasts a "nature area"  used for hikes and other environmental studies.  The elevated stage in our multipurpose room is used for many events, including our annual musical productions.
