School Policies/Procedures/Rules
Albert Schweitzer School fosters a safe, positive, and challenging learning environment where students, teachers, and parents collaborate in support of creating an atmosphere that fosters individual abilities. Our goals are to provide:
- A safe learning environment
- an integrated, academically challenging program
- An environment that fosters self-esteem, autonomy, respect, and responsibility through the implementation of strategies that value each student
- A strong home-school bond in support of our community of learners.
It is important that school policies, procedures, and rules be shared and understood by students, parents/guardians, and school staff members. Each teacher spends time at the beginning of the year and at the beginning of each trimester teaching and reviewing the School Behavior Policies, Procedures, and School Rules.
