ALL STAR 100
All Star Olympics
The San Juan Unified School District invites all middle school students with developmental delays or physical disabilities to participate in the "All Star Olympics." The Olympics will be held May 12th at American River College. There will be two events: the softball throw and the 100 yard dash. The softball throw will begin at 5:00 and the 100 yard dash at 6:30. Please Contact Dan Brown dbrown@sanjuan.edu at Sylvan Middle School for information or to sign your child up for the event.
Students in grades 6-8 from all schools in the San Juan District are invited to participate. Students are not required to be members of their school's track team to participate. The All Star Olympics will take place during the District Track Finals. Dan Brown will coordinate the event and answer any questions parents have regarding their child's particular disability. Dan will bring a team of trained volunteers to provide assistance (if needed) to any athletes in their events.
