For more than 50 years San Juan Unified has been an integral part of the communities it serves. With the baby boom following World War II our community expanded at a quick pace and created more than 70 schools to serve the needs of students and families.
Today, San Juan Unified operates 66 traditional school sites and a handful of alternatives that provide high-quality education to students with the support and involvement of community members.
The Community Relations Division is an extension of the Superintendent's office providing support to schools and community groups looking to form partnerships, share resources and create a better environment for teaching and learning. San Juan Unified's Community Relations Division incorporates the:
- Family and Community Engagement (FACE) office offering support to resolve parent concerns and secure partnerships that help reduce the achievement gap for our students;
- Grants and Special Projects office which works to secure and manage both small and large grants that support schools' efforts and;
- Communication office which helps school and programs share their stories with our community through events, social media, news media and other channels as well as responding to crisis or other difficult situations.
Contact information for each office is available via the contact link to the left.
