K-8 and Middle School Sports

New Track Event in 2009/2010: All Star 100-The San Juan Unified School District invites all Middle School Students who have a developmental delays or physical disabilities to participate in the "All Star 100." Students in grades 6-8 from all schools in SJUSD are invited to participate. Students are not required to be members of their school's track team to participate. The All Star 100 will take place during the District Track Finals and will be run directly after the traditional 100 meter dash. Dan Brown will coordinate the event and answer any question parents have regarding their child's particular disability. Coaches will provide assistance (if needed) to any athlete in the race.
