Bridges After-School
Building Bridges to Student Success
The San Juan Unified School District's comprehensive Bridges After-School Program provides FREE academic intervention and pro-social enrichment in a safe and positive environment. The Bridges After-School Program currently serves 3,500 students grades 1st-12th at 34 sites. Students realize academic success through the implementation of each of the four components of the program: academic support, enrichment/disguised learning, pro-social skills/recreation, and parent support and empowerment. In order for a student to be successful in the program, strong relationships between program staff, school staff, parents and students are needed. Relationships are key!
