San Juan Career Technical Education (CTE) (formerly San Juan ROP) is a program of study that involves a multi-year sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with the technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers. CTE programs are California Partnership Academies (CPA) and Regional Occupational Programs (ROP).
The state of California has identified 15 Industry Sectors. Each sector contains multiple career pathways in which to develop Programs of Study. In collaboration with Sacramento region's colleges and business San Juan Unified School District has determined the sectors and careers can best serve the students, industry and the Sacramento community.
