On Tuesday, November 19th at 7 PM, Arden Middle School, FBI Supervisory Special Agent James Harris and Assistant U.S. Attorney Laurel White will present Cyber Safety for Parents.  During 90 minute presentation they will discuss the dangers facing teens and youth while online, and the steps parents and children can take to keep themselves internet safe.  Issues to be discussed include; social networking sites, online gaming, cyberbulling, sexting, child pornography trafficking, illegal downloading and online predators.

Children today have unprecedented access to everything the Internet has to offer, and that is not always good. Parents have the opportunity and obligation to educate themselves on the dangers of life in CyberSpace and help provide their children with the information they need to make wise decisions. As a community service, Arden Middle School PTA will be hosting a presentation by representatives of the FBI and US Department of Justice on what you need to know to keep your children safe.
