Open Enrollment applications accepted Nov.16 - Jan. 29
San Juan Unified offers families who reside in the San Juan Unified School district an opportunity to enroll students in any of the district schools. Applications will be available at all district school sites and at San Juan Central (3738 Walnut Avenue, Carmichael 95608) beginning November 16. Applications will be accepted at San Juan Central during normal business hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at school sites during normal school hours.
Families may select one school of their choice. Students will be placed through a computer generated lottery held in February 2010. Results will be mailed home in March 2010. All applications are processed at one time regardless of the date they are submitted.

Middle Schools - Visitation:
On Dec. 3 and 10, parents of 7th/8th graders may visit and observe classroom activities from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and students may visit after their school ends, from 12 – 2 p.m.
Dec. 2 is designated a visitation day for the 6th grade programs at Arcade, Barrett, Pasteur, and Salk, following the same schedule for the 7th/8th grade visitation.
Arden 6th grade visitation is on Dec. 9 @ 9 a.m.
Churchill Visitation is on Dec. 2 (6-8; IB Only) from 8 a.m. -2p.m. and on
Dec. 10 (non-IB) from 8 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
