QUOTE FOR THE MONTH “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are endless.”
B is for Bedtime Awwwww, Mom!Already?Sound familiar? On average children, need 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night. Sleep is important for many reasons. Lack of sleep can cause kids to be hypersensitive, impatient, or cranky. It is more difficult for children to concentrate and learn when they are tired. Encouraging quiet activities such as, reading just prior to bedtime offers a transition that helps children relax. Sweet dreams!
ART DOCENT The Art Docent Portfolios “C” are here from November 2 – December 3. Please arrange with your teacher for a presentation date and time, and be sure to mark it on the sign out sheet. The portfolios are available until noon on the last day.
