Share Your News

Thank you for taking the time to share your good news with the San Juan Unified community! 

Use this form to submit news stories and ideas to the district's communication team, and we’ll work with you to find the best way to tell the story. Please keep in mind that the more advance notice we have - three to four weeks, preferably - the better we can plan coverage of your story.

We have three publications we use to help spread the word, depending on your target audience:

SJ Scene: Parents, community members and the general public subscribe to this monthly e-newsletter. Deadline for submissions is 2 p.m. Friday for distribution on the first Tuesday of each month. Special editions may be distributed throughout the school year.

Behind the Scenes: All district staff, including teachers, receive this weekly e-newsletter. Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Thursday for distribution the following Tuesday.

Leadership Reflections: A limited audience of school principals, site and district leadership receive this weekly publication. Deadline for submissions is 9 a.m. on Monday for distribution the following Thursday. 

Social Media: Parents, community members, staff, news media, some students, and the general public follow the district's robust social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. Posts are typically scheduled one to two weeks in advance.
