iMovies iMovies become the huge project for the Third trimester. They are 35% of your student's grade and I hope a lot of fun for them to do. Once they are done, I will be sending out invitations for you to come in and view them, anbd offer your critique of their work.
Wow ! It hardly seems believable that we are beginning the last trimester. We are moving into Japan in World History and towards the Civil War in US History. Doug Bonetti will be joining us on March 24th to discuss Gettysburg and to bring in some of his Civil War artifacts.
San Francisco Trip
We will be going to San Francisco. There are 88 students and 9 Chaperones signed up to attend. The trip is March 26th. We will be leaving Lichen at 6:30 am and returning around 7:00 pm. Our King Tut tour begins at 9:30 am. Plan on it taking two hours, we will then be spending the rest of the day at the Science Academy and the arboretum.
The balance of the $80.00 fee is due Friday March 19th.
Sad News Due to lack of interest our trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland has been cancelled. For all you seventh and sixth grade parents we will try again next year. Please start planning on it now.

Zangle is a great new tool for you to be able to keep up with your student's progress. If you are a parent,or guardian of one of my students, would you please send your email address to school with your student so that I can make sure that you are registered to use the site.
Zangle offers you so much information about your student from the 7th through the 12th grade that it really is important for you use it.
Please take the time to look over some of the iMovies that some of my student did in past years. I know that the students I have now will surpass some of these achievements. We will be making our iMovies during the Second Trimester.
