Welcome to Mr. Brown’s Math

My name is Dan Brown and I am beginning my 16th year teaching math at Sylvan.  I love teaching math and  work hard to make class interesting, challenging, and life applicable.  I have a wonderful wife, Noel, and three beautiful daughters, Kennedy, Campbell, and Piper.  I coach track at Sylvan and enjoy playing soccer and flyfishing in my spare time.  I also run a youth program for teens with disabilities.  I am looking forward to a great year!  Following is an outline of my expectations for the year.  I will be sending home a notebook with this information inlcuded.  If you would like to receive my periodic emails concerning important classroom events, please click on the envelope icon on the top right corner of this web page.  If you need to contact me, my email is dbrown@sanjuan.edu.
