We Make Sound Look Good!
Intermediate Band Plays at Assisted Living Home On Wednesday, March 10 the Intermediate Band walked down the street and played for the residents of Apple Ridge Assisted Living Home. The kids enjoyed the field trip and had a great time interacting with the residents. One gentleman said hearing the band made him "feel younger". The students performed Saxophone Rag, Espirit, Highlights From Harry Potter, and Songs of American Patriots.
Thanks to all the parents that helped out, especially the Monroe's for the use of the truck!

Arcade Band and Choir Concert at Apple Ridge

On Friday, December 11, 2009 the Arcade band and choir walked to the Apple Ridge Assisted Living Home to play some lovely Christmas songs to lift the spirits of the residents. First the band played some tunes and then the choir joined in for some classics such as Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red- Nosed Reindeer. Some of the audience even joined in!
After the show the students went around to the folks to say hello and thank them for letting the band come and play for them. All in all it was a successful day and it most likely lightened the day of many of the patients at Apple Ridge Home for the Elderly.
